Over 3200 people took part in the various congresses organised to coincide with LABORALIA (Show of Prevention, Protection, Safety and Health at Work), held at Feria Valencia.

Laboralia 2009 had 160 exhibitors and top-class experts from 14 countries from around the globe, with a special mention for USA, Finland, Italy, Germany, Holland, UK and of course Spain.

This year Laboralia will be working 24-7. The Show of Prevention, Protection, Safety and Health at Work will function throughout the whole year thanks to the newly implemented Laboralia Virtual, a social network allowing exhibitors to continuously showcase their products and services at any time and in any language.

Spain's largest outsourcing preventive service completes the implantation of its new work method in which the latest technologies play an important role.

Since its constitution in 2.006, part of the business philosophy of the Sociedad de Prevención de FREMAP (SPF) has been to invest in innovation as a means of reaching the highest degrees of service quality and client satisfaction. As a result of this constant search for improving work tools, in October 2.006 the SPF started designing a new computer application to carry out risk assessments. Over two years work came to a peak on April 3rd with the presentation of the MGER 2.0, which is the name given to this new risk assessment method.
This project has meant an investment of over 3 million euros, and it combines a new work method with a new computer application and new hardware in the shape of a portable Tablet PC.

The fair takes place on May 27th, 28th and 29th at Feria Valencia against an exceptional backdrop, as it coincides with another two major congresses on health and prevention at work: INMAS Forum 2009 and Ágora de la Estrategia Española de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo.
